Detailed Product Description

The item is from clove oil and other essential oil contained eugenol by distillation.

Appearance and Odor: it is transparent liqid with colorless or tiny yellow; which is clove type odor and taste is pungent, it will be brown gradually when it is xposed in air .
It can be dissolved in ethenol,aether ,chloroform but alnist can not be sloves in water.

Refractive index: between 1.538 to 1.542
Acid value: PH value must between 4.0 to 7.0

Usage: It is used in perfumeries,flavorings, essential oils and in medicine as a local antiseptic andanesthetic. It is also used in the production of isoeugenol for themanufacture of vanillin.
